PRELIMINARY SAT (PSAT)/ NATIONAL MERIT SCHOLARSHIP QUALIFYING TEST Laurel Highlands High School will be giving the PSAT/NMSQT test on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 to any interested juniors. The cost is $18.00. Please return a registration form and payment to the Guidance office by Thursday, September 30, 2021. You must have your payment to register. (CHECK OR MONEY ORDER ONLY)

The PSAT/NMSQT lets you:
● Practice for the SAT- A PSAT/NMSQT will be administered to help students prepare for the SAT. The PSAT/NMSQT will have enhanced math content, a critical reading section, and a writing skills section.
● Enter scholarship competitions
● Ask colleges to send you information
● Compare your academic skills with those of other students who are considering college
