Lorien Seaton, a ninth student at LHHS, won 3rd place in a 4-county wide billboard design contest. As an active member of the school's SADD Club, Lorien submitted a design with the message, "Don't TEXT your last words! Eyes on the Road... Not Your Phone!" On Wednesday, she was awarded a prize of $250, a poster of her winning design, and $250 for the school's SADD Club. Outstanding job, Lorien, we are so proud of you!!

PennDOT District 12 Highway Safety Network project partnered with State Farm to sponsor the “No Excuses” Distracted Driving Billboard Design Contest. The contest was open to all high schools/Career & Tech Centers in the 4 counties of PennDOT District 12-0 (Fayette, Greene, Washington & Westmoreland). A total of $3,500 of prize money was awarded.
