Cadets take Orientation Flight
On April 6th, 26 Laurel Highlands High School Air Force JROTC cadets took to the skies on a C-17 aircraft assigned to the 911th Airlift Wing at Pittsburgh Airport. The students went on the 2 hour orientation flight to receive a firsthand experience of military aircraft which flew over Niagara Falls and upstate New York.
As Air Force JROTC cadets, the students are educated in areas like citizenship, life skills, community service, leadership and self-discipline.
