Laurel Highlands HS Air Force JROTC earns prestigious award

The Laurel Highlands High School’s Air Force JROTC unit has been selected by Headquarters, Air Force JROTC as one of 103 units to receive the 2022-2023 Air Force JROTC Distinguished Unit with Merit Award. This is the first time the Laurel Highlands High School Air Force JROTC unit has earned this award since the program’s inception in 2009.

Enrollment is open to high school students who are in the 9th to 12th grades.

Air Force JROTC is located in over 850 high schools across the United States and at selected schools in Europe, in the Pacific, and in Puerto Rico.
