As administrators, it is our sincere pleasure to welcome students and parents to the Laurel Highlands High School. Our goal is to make each student's high school career meaningful and beneficial. We strive to help students reach their fullest potential in academics, athletics, and extra-curricular activities.
Uniontown is the county seat of Fayette County and serves as the business, industrial, cultural, and political center in Fayette County. Laurel Highlands High School has taken advantage of this fact and has formed partnerships with area businesses and organizations in order to enrich the education of our students and enhance the lives of local residents. We welcome and encourage members of the community to join us in our commitment to create a learning community in which all students have the opportunity to grow to their fullest potential.
We are proud of the strong instructional programs our school is able to offer. Our goal is to provide students with the educational background necessary to reach their greatest potential. The high school currently offers thirteen Advanced Placement courses, ten College in the Classroom courses, as well as dozens of Dual Enrollment opportunities at area colleges and universities. Please visit the link to our Curriculum Guide to review our program offerings. After-school programs offer students a variety of support systems including tutoring, mentoring, and homework help.
